At SkillSwap, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all new paid subscriptions (Pro and Creator). No questions asked.
All payments on SkillSwap are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
New subscriptions — 7-day guarantee
If you subscribed to Pro or Creator and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial charge. This applies to your first payment only.
Renewals
Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable. If you forgot to cancel before your renewal date, contact us within 48 hours and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.
Annual plans
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a prorated refund within the first 30 days. After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable but you retain access until the end of the billing year.
Cancellations
Cancelling your subscription stops future charges. You keep full access until the end of your current billing period. Cancellation alone does not trigger a refund.
Webinar ticket purchases (paid webinars hosted by Creator members) are subject to the following:
Webinar refund requests should be submitted within 7 days of the scheduled event date.
Once a refund is approved and initiated by us via Paddle:
Processing times are determined by your bank or payment provider and are outside our control. If your refund has not appeared after 10 business days, please contact us and we can provide a Paddle transaction reference for your bank to trace.
We reserve the right to decline a refund request where:
Consumer protection laws in certain jurisdictions (e.g. EU, UK) may grant you additional refund rights beyond this policy. Nothing in this policy limits those statutory rights.
